Hidden away from the crowds of mass tourism, the small village of Capdepera represents a wonderful, idyllic spot, mainly populated by Mallorcans, and steeped in the local traditions which attract so many to the island.
Old cobble stone alleys lead to the marketplace “Placa Orient” where locals meet every Wednesday for the weekly market. High above the village stands the ancient Castello de Capdepera, offering magnificent views of the Mediterranean on one side, and sweeping views of rolling green hills dotted with lush olive trees on the other.
Although Capdepera represents authentic Mallorca with all its peace and tranquility, for entertainment and activity the wonderful beaches of Cala Rajada and state of the art, world class golf courses are only ten minutes away.
